Salary/Payrate: $30/HR to $89/HR 1099 OR $62K - $141K W2

Work Environment: 100% Remote

Term: Contract to Hire (Potential to convert after 6 months)

Our federal client is looking to hire a 100% remote Functional Analyst. Please send your resume in WORD format should you be interested in exploring this role. The position is on a contract to hire basis and will pay an hourly rate of $30/HR to $89/HR 1099, dependent on experience. We also offer the option of a W2 annual salary of $62K to $141K, with full benefits and PTO.

 

***Due to the required clearance with our government client, only US Citizens, Green Card and Green Card EAD holders may be considered. Clearance requires that the candidates have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days***

 

List of tasks to be performed:

  • Analyze, review, and accept the Business Needs Statements BNS, Epics, Features, and User Stories
  • Document to trace Business Requirements to Technical Requirements. All approved IT Development requests must have Epics and Stories created and tracked in Version One
  • Designs computer solutions along with team Architects and Engineers
  • Establishes project estimates
  • Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures
  • Provides direction to the development and testing cycles
  • Drives scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design
  • Ensures delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional/non-functional requirement
  • Provides technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners
  • As Scrum Master backup, assist with Agile Ceremonies and release management.
  • Maintain overall industry knowledge on latest trends, technology, etc.

Knowledge with the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies
  • Knowledge of Version One or similar work management tools
  • Able to present and communication at all levels within an organization
  • Demonstrates forward thinking in how technology can support modernization efforts.
  • Incident Management – Ability to lead as a Critical Incident Manager to restore production applications impacting events.
  • Able to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously.

              

Working knowledge (2+ years experience) of one of more of the following qualifications:

  • Able to present and communication at all levels within an organization
  • Able to present and communication at all levels within an organization


Required Experience Level:

  • Able to present and communication at all levels within an organization

Educational Requirements:

  • Able to present and communication at all levels within an organization.
  • A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred.
  • NOTE: If resource does not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
