Job Description:
A well-established Tampa-based family law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with 5–8 years of Florida family law experience, particularly in high-net-worth and complex divorce matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who can independently manage sophisticated cases while delivering strategic, discreet, and client-focused representation. The ideal candidate will have experience handling financially complex divorces involving significant assets, business interests, executive compensation, and contested custody matters, and will thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of family law matters with an emphasis on high-net-worth divorce and complex financial cases
- Handle matters involving asset division, closely held businesses, real estate portfolios, executive compensation, trusts, and retirement assets
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, and complex discovery
- Conduct depositions, mediations, evidentiary hearings, and trials
- Work closely with forensic accountants, financial experts, and valuation professionals
- Advise high-net-worth clients with professionalism, discretion, and strategic insight
- Develop case strategy and guide clients through sensitive and high-stakes litigation
- Collaborate with partners and support staff to deliver exceptional client service
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of concentrated family law experience in Florida
- Demonstrated experience with high-net-worth divorce and complex financial matters
- Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom skills
- Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage cases independently and meet demanding deadlines
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence
