JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a respected organization in the energy sector, is looking for a Legal Analyst to join their team

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including NDAs, guarantees, credit support documents, and commercial agreements
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, from initiation and execution to amendments and renewals
• Conduct counterparty onboarding, compliance checks, and due diligence reviews
• Support internal teams (trading, operations, credit, etc.) with legal and contractual matters
• Assist with corporate governance, regulatory filings, and compliance-related activities
• Contribute to M&A and acquisition-related documentation and processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and efficiency of commercial operations
• Maintain organized records and ensure timely handling of legal requests
• Provide ongoing support to the General Counsel and legal department



Requirements:

• Experience in legal, contracts, or paralegal work preferred
• Exposure to the energy or commodities industry is a plus
• Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization
• High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
• Professional, reliable, and service-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
