Job Description:
Our client, an AMLaw 50 firm, is looking to add a Knowledge & Innovation Specialist to their team in New York City. This is a full time, direct hire role paying an annual salary of $95K to $115K plus a performance-based bonus and excellent benefits package. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and will allow for remote work one day a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge Management:
- Own and manage internal corporate and transactional databases, libraries, portals, and resource centers, ensuring accuracy, usability, alignment with practice group needs and advances in technology.
- Integrate AI tools to enable smarter benchmarking, document libraries, and data-driven insights
- Create and keep up to date training programs and process guides that standardize workflows and promote continuous learning.
Project Management:
- Implement structured processes for database and resource center maintenance, including audits, updates, and enhancements.
- Coordinate work with K&I Assistants and interns to prioritize tasks and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate across teams and functions to keep K&I initiatives on track.
Innovation & AI Integration:
- Promote AI integration.
- Identify opportunities for automation and innovation.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of AI tools and other technology solutions.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives that enhance lawyer productivity and client service delivery.
Additional Responsibilities:.
- Complete other projects as assigned.
- Create dashboards and reports to transform raw firm data into actionable insights.
- Contribute to communication and change management efforts to drive awareness and engagement with new resources and technologies.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a knowledge management, innovation, or legal technology role.
- Law firm experience, particularly in a corporate or transactional practice environment, strongly preferred.
- Experience with data analytics, reporting or data architecture in a professional services context is a plus.
