Title: Business Analyst - Payroll
Location: 100% Remote
Salary: $30-$35/HR W2
Work Environment: 100% Remote

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy in timekeeping, deductions, and employee
- compensation.
- Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Audit timesheets, reconcile payroll transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure payroll ledger accuracy and timely tax filings.
- Prepare reports including payroll summaries, audit data, and year-end reports (e.g., W-2s).
Compliance & HR Operations Support:
- Support compliance with all applicable wage, hour, and benefits laws (ACA, COBRA,
- ERISA, FMLA, etc.).
- Prepare compensation documentation as needed and support performance review cycle
- from a payroll/benefit standpoint.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance during audits or reporting periods (internal or external).
- Ensure compliance with retirement plan regulations, including conducting and coordinating
- non-discrimination testing and preparing required filings. Maintain secure and accurate
- digital and physical records related to payroll and benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in payroll processing.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state payroll laws, tax reporting, and benefits
- regulations.
- Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems (ADP or BambooHR preferred) and Microsoft
- Office (especially Excel).
