Litigation Legal Assistant
Summary
Our client, an esteemed international law firm, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to provide high-level legal and administrative support to attorneys. This role serves as a trusted partner in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating litigation matters, and facilitating communication across clients and internal teams. The position is critical to ensuring efficient, accurate, and seamless support of a fast-paced litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Case & Workflow Management: Coordinate, track, and execute litigation tasks, deadlines, and projects
- Communication: Serve as primary liaison for attorneys, clients, and internal teams
- Team Support: Delegate, oversee, and collaborate with legal support staff; provide mentorship and feedback
- Document Management: Draft, edit, proofread, and manage legal documents, filings, and correspondence
- Research & Preparation: Conduct research and compile materials for case preparation and briefings
- Meetings & Logistics: Organize meetings, prepare agendas/materials, and manage follow-ups
- Billing & Admin: Oversee billing processes, prebills, expenses, and time entry; act as attorney proxy for inquiries
- Calendar & Travel: Manage complex scheduling, resolve conflicts, and coordinate travel arrangements

Technical Skills

Education & Experience
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred
- 5+ years in legal or executive administrative support
- Experience supporting litigation attorneys or senior leadership preferred
