Job Title: Associate Attorney

Location: San Diego, CA 92108

Salary/Payrate: $130K - $225K, bonus and AWESOME benefits!!!

Work Environment: After ramping up – few days a week work-from-home

Term: Permanent / Fulltime

Our client is an established real estate law firm with offices throughout California. We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. We are looking for an Attorney to join our fast-paced Business Real Estate team in our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience with a strong client service skillset.


***Client will consider candidates with general business/civil litigation (trial) experience***


Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal representation to clients, assessing the facts and issues of each scenario and counseling clients appropriately
  • Respond to client concerns to increase and retain business
  • Participate in industry organizations and affiliated committees to increase the firm’s visibility in the community and within the industry
  • Ability to handle complex matters on one’s own and/or as a lead attorney with little supervision
  • Ability to develop executive level client confidence to retain current firm clients
  • Ability to contribute to a positive and respectful working environment
  • Billable hours requirement is 1600
  • Represent the firm internally and externally
  • Other duties as needed to support the legal and management goals of the department

 

Qualifications:

Our client is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and an active California Bar license
  • 5+ years of experience as a licensed California attorney
  • Trial experience required is for Senior Attorney while trial experience is NOT required for Associate with 3 – 5 years experience.
  • Ability to communicate regularly with clients on a range of practice group topics
  • Ability to multi-task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independently

 

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in landlord-tenant matters
  • Previous experience with real estate law
