Job Description:
Our Law Firm client’s Marketing Team is looking for a Communications Coordinator to strategize, create, and track content across external and internal platforms. This role involves content development for the firm website, social media channels, and e-marketing as well as the firm intranet and internal communications.
The ideal candidate is an idea generator who is excited to get involved with copy, graphics, multimedia presentations, event materials, and more. We are looking for a team player to help us shape the Firm’s brand through strong, compelling storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Strategize, create, and track content for external digital platforms, including the firm website, social media channels, and e-marketing
- Create marketing copy, graphics, multimedia presentations, and event materials
- Conceptualize and execute social media campaigns that align with the firm's voice and elevate the firm’s brand
- Assist with ongoing website content maintenance
- Track data and analyze ROI metrics to understand the success of thought leadership campaigns and digital content engagement
- Work with industry publications and vendors to maintain external award profiles, ensuring the firm's digital presence is comprehensive and accurate
- Lead management of firm intranet, including content creation and maintenance in collaboration with other administrative teams
- Create internal communications, including e-newsletters and announcements
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or similar field
- 2+ years of experience in a professional services or B2B setting preferred
- Knowledge of the legal industry or another professional services sector preferred
- Top-tier writing and editing skills with a deep understanding of AP Style
- Experience creating, editing, managing, and distributing digital content
- Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to work product excellence
- Demonstrated project, time, and expectation management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with attorneys and staff
- Out-of-the-box thinking and willingness to try new approaches, keeping an eye on trends and best practices in marketing and law firm communications
Tech & Software Skills
- Expert LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred
- Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and contact and experience databases preferred
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and data reporting preferred
