Job Title: Litigation Docket Specialist
Location: Remote in USA - PST highly preferred
Salary/Payrate: $40-50/HR W2 depending on experience
Work Environment: Remote
Term: 3+ Month Contract with possible extensions

Job Description:
This will be an excellent fit for a litigation professional who has strong experience reviewing legal documents, identifying critical deadlines, and managing litigation calendars.
- Review court notices, pleadings, ECF filings, agency filings, emails, and other legal documents to identify and docket deadlines
- Calculate and enter deadlines accurately based on applicable court and agency rules
- Monitor and maintain litigation calendars across multiple offices and matters
- Generate daily, weekly, and special docket reports
- Research court rules and procedures when necessary
- Respond to attorneys, paralegals, and staff regarding docketing and deadline questions
- Maintain accurate case information and assist with case-closing procedures
- Manage a high-volume workload independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in a legal environment, with strong litigation experience strongly preferred
- California litigation experience
- Labor & employment law experience
- CompuLaw Vision experience
- Experience with federal and state court docketing
- Experience with NLRB matters and procedures
Experience:
- Significant experience reviewing pleadings, court filings, notices, and other legal documents
- Strong understanding of litigation deadlines and court procedures
- Ability to independently calculate and manage critical deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Experience with docketing or rules-based calendaring software is highly preferred
