Job Title: Real Estate Transaction Attorney

Job Description
- Firm would prefer to hire a contract attorney for this assignment.
- Position could potentially be temp-to-perm.
- Initial assignment is expected to last approximately 4 months.
- Approximately 40 hours per week are anticipated due to the volume of work.
- Attorney will be required to enter and track billable time/hours.
Scope of Work
- Assignment involves transactional due diligence and review of commercial lease/real estate documents.
- A primary responsibility will be confirming that leases and related documents are:
- Complete
- Fully executed
- Properly signed
- Inclusive of all required exhibits and attachments
- Role appears to involve reviewing a significant volume of documents in connection with transactional/M&A due diligence.
Experience
- Target appears to be a mid-level transactional attorney, approximately 4–7 years of experience.
- Notes also reference 7–10 years of experience
- Relevant background may include:
- Corporate/M&A transactions
- Transactional due diligence
- Commercial lease review
- Real estate transactional documents
- Prior commercial leasing/real estate experience is required and strong corporate M&A/due diligence.
