Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Location: New York, NY 10017

Salary/Payrate: 80-85K – Temp to Perm (40-45/hr onsite) and $80K-$85K after conversion

Work Environment: HYBRID (3 days ONSITE, 2 days REMOTE)

Term: Full-time, direct hire

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join their New York City office to support an active litigation team. The ideal candidate will provide high-level support to attorneys focusing on Mass Torts and Civil Defense Litigation. This position offers exponential opportunity for someone looking to perform challenging work in a collaborative, team environment within a well-established, but growing organization. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft and format shell discovery responses, correspondence, and pleading shells.
• Prepare hearing and trial notebooks
• Manage and maintain calendaring of court deadlines, hearings, and discovery obligations
• E-file documents in state and federal courts
• Assist with trial preparation
• Perform internet and legal research using Westlaw and other platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, PACER/ECF
• Strong internet research and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends during trial prep
