Job Title: Contract Real Estate Attorney

Location: East Coast Preferred

Salary/Payrate: $85hr -$105hr on W2

Work Environment: Remote

Term: Contract

Job Description:

Client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney with a strong background in economic incentives to assist with a sophisticated commercial real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients on economic incentive matters in connection with real estate development, expansion, and other complex commercial transactions.

 

This attorney should also have substantive commercial real estate transactional experience involving acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development. Economic incentives experience is the most important requirement for this position.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on economic incentives matters associated with commercial real estate and development projects.
  • Assist with the negotiation, documentation, and implementation of economic incentive arrangements.
  • Handle commercial real estate transactions involving acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases and related real estate agreements.
  • Assist with real estate development matters and related transactional documentation.
  • Conduct due diligence and analyze legal and transactional issues associated with complex real estate matters.
  • Work collaboratively with partners, attorneys, clients, and other professionals on sophisticated transactions.
  • Manage multiple matters and deadlines while providing timely and responsive legal support.

 


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in-good-standing state bar admission.
  • Economic incentives experience required.
  • Commercial real estate transactional experience.
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple sophisticated matters and deadlines.
