A growing law firm is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Associate to join its dynamic litigation practice. This role is ideal for a driven, intellectually curious attorney who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take on meaningful responsibility early in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support all phases of complex litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and document review
• Assist with deposition preparation, hearings, and trial strategy
• Collaborate closely with partners and litigation teams on case development and execution
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission (or ability to waive in)
• Strong academic credentials, including:
• Top 10% of class at a nationally recognized law school OR
• Top 1–5% of class from a local law school (including William S. Boyd School of Law)
• Judicial clerkship experience strongly preferred, particularly federal district court clerkships
• Bachelor’s degree required; prior business experience a plus (MBA is a strong plus)
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
