Job Summary: IT Support Analyst – Houston, TX
Our client, a well-regarded law firm in Houston, is seeking a full-time, in-office IT Support Analyst to join their Information Technology Services team. This entry-level role reports to the Director of IT and is ideal for professionals with 2–3 years of IT support experience, preferably within the legal industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 help desk support via ticketing system
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking issues for both onsite and remote users
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding
- Maintain IT inventory and manage equipment check-in/out
- Support anti-virus software, patch management, and network troubleshooting
- Help maintain the help desk portal and document internal how-tos
- Set up and support conference room tech and user phone/headset systems
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11, Office Suite, and Active Directory
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
- Understanding of Group Policies, file and print services, and event log analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Teams Telephony, and Ivanti systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
