JOB DESCRIPTION

The Applications (Marketing Technology) Engineer works as a member of a collaborative team responsible for business analysis, software evaluation, solution architecture, planning, integrating or implementing, testing, debugging, configuring, supporting, and documenting packaged applications and/or purchased SaaS solutions. The Engineer performs technical services as required, in the form of software updates/patches, SQL programming, management of scheduled jobs, backend data review and changes, scripting, file updates, reporting, and maintenance of select system configuration on assigned applications. Works independently or as a member of multi-disciplinary teams, the Engineer executes projects that supports the Firm's technology initiatives. Assists with the evaluation of marketing and business development focused technology applications and solutions to confirm alignment with business and technical requirements. Contributes to the onboarding and retirement of applications as needed, by scheduling, coordinating and delivering required technical support. The Engineer is responsible for independently maintaining and upgrading skills through ongoing training, education, Firm sponsored educational events, self-study, collaboration with peers, and required to work outside of normal working hours as deemed necessary to meet the Firm’s objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Marketing (MarTech) Technology or Business Intelligence application testing, implementation, problem resolution and ongoing support. Examples include CRM, ERM, workflow management, email automation, digital marketing, digital asset management, and content management systems.
• Experience providing Tier 3 application support in Marketing Technology, Web Technology environment.
• Works as a member of a collaborative team responsible for business analysis, product evaluation, planning, designing, integrating, implementing, testing, debugging, configuring, supporting, and documenting packaged applications and/or SaaS solutions
• Hands-on knowledge of writing SQL queries for reporting purposes
• Experience working with 3rd party web applications, serve as liaison between business and vendor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in application integration, application support, or implementation.
• Experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or comparable service industry desirable.
