Salary/Payrate: $38-48/hr W2

Work Environment: Remote

Term: 3 Month Contract to Hire

Job Description:

The New Business Intake (NBI) Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of NBI Specialists and coordinating data input into the NBI System for the purposes of matter opening. In addition to managing a team, the Supervisor will submit requests for New Business through the New Business Intake System in compliance with firm and client policies. This role requires a thorough understanding of the NBI process, and other aspects of client information for data maintenance.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Associate Director of New Business and other Departments on input and modification to the NBI Processes for continued improvement on data capture.
  • Assist in the testing, development, and upgrades to our NBI platform.
  • Assist in monitoring outstanding NBI Requests requiring Case Management and Rate/Billing information.
  • Anticipates problems and issues and exercises independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions. Takes actions in solving problems while knowing when and whom to escalate issues.
  • Delivers high quality, accurate and timely work product and results, and demonstrates the ability to follow through on agreed objectives.
  • Manage/Supervise the NBI team.
  • Provide training and supervisory work to other team members as needed.
  • Adhoc Reporting.



Skills and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors Required
  • 5+ years of experience conducting legal new business intake.
  • 2+ years of managing experience required
  • Proficient use of Outlook, Excel and knowledge of NBI system are required, as well as consistent accuracy, tactful writing skills and attention to detail are all necessary for this position.
  • Intapp Open experience required.
  • Displays strong time management skills. Responds quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities. Able to work under tight deadlines, handle multiple detailed tasks simultaneously, prioritize appropriately and delegate to others where needed.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
  • Communicates effectively and collaboratively at all levels. Diplomatic and skilled at building rapport.
