Job Description:

Our federal client is looking to hire an Oracle Database Developer at their offices in Merrifield, VA. This is a long-term (12 months, renewable) contract that allows for one day a week remote work. The position is on a contract to hire basis and will pay an annual salary of $100K to $125K (dependent on experience) on a W2 basis with full benefits and PTO.

***Due to the required clearance with our government client, only US Citizens, Green Card and Green Card EAD holders may be considered. Clearance requires that the candidates have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days***

Requirements

• Support existing Java/Eclipse/WebSphere application
• Perform software development, testing, and provide support in all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Oracle Database development experience (PL/SQL scripting, SLQ optimization)
• C/C++ Development
• UNIX/Linux experience (Shell scripting)
• Perl scripting
• Windows experience
• Ability to perform analysis and design.
• In depth knowledge of software engineering techniques and concepts.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently or coordinate as part of a development team with other software engineers.
• Knowledge of computer data-structures and algorithms
• Software quality assurance experience
• Ability to provide support to issues in production
