Job Description:

Well-established Tampa civil litigation firm is seeking a Personal Injury Associate Attorney (5+ years) with strong litigation and trial experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently manage cases and actively participate in trial and mediation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury caseload from intake through resolution
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and court filings
• Take and defend depositions (parties, witnesses, experts)
• Appear at hearings, mediations, inspections, and trial
• Handle settlement negotiations and mediation participation
• Track billables (150/month minimum)
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure case readiness
• Stay current on case law and procedural updates

Required Qualifications

• JD from accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar (in good standing)
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience
• Trial experience required (minimum 3 trials)
