Job Title: Workers Compensation Attorney

Location: Orlando, FL 32801

Salary/Payrate: $110K-$135K + bonus and AWESOME benefits!!!

Work Environment: Onsite/Hybrid after 90 days

Term: Permanent / Fulltime

Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired

Job Description:

• Represent clients in workers’ compensation defense matters from inception through resolution
• Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with partners and clients
• Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in Florida workers’ compensation law
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Conduct and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as needed
• Provide clear legal analysis and strategic guidance to clients
• Collaborate effectively with partners, clients, and firm support staff
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive, ethical, and results-driven advocacy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of workers’ compensation defense experience (required)
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities (LexisNexis experience preferred)
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to ethical practice

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Initial onboarding/training and first 90 days required onsite
• Hybrid schedule may be discussed after successful completion of onboarding
