Job Description:

SUMMARY:

• This role combines maintenance and managing of the on-premises and cloud environments, as well as upgrade planning and future needs of the Firm’s information technology.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Responsible for administration, maintenance, and upgrades of 30+ virtual servers, 175+ workstations and 180+ users both local and remote. Windows 2019-2022 server environment, Windows 11 laptop environment.
• Supports hardware and software at workstation and server level.
• Assists with identifying and resolving issues.
• Interacts with users, clients and vendors.
• Provides help desk support through escalation process and after-hours requests.
• Completes special assignments/projects as assigned.
• Technical backup for Network Administrators and Chief Information Officer.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (all versions), VMWare, Windows Scripting, Microsoft Cloud tools.
• Knowledge of Cisco connectivity hardware a plus.
• Project management skills.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years systems admin experience; law firm experience preferred.
• Excellent oral, organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills.
• Conscientious, thorough, accurate, attention to detail, responsive, self-motivated, professional.
• Ability to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Able to be on call after hours and weekends.
• All other duties as assigned.
