Job Description:
A well-established, AV-rated Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Marketing Manager to lead and execute firm-wide marketing and business development initiatives. This is a highly visible role partnering directly with firm leadership and attorneys to drive brand growth, client engagement, and strategic expansion. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute firm-wide marketing and business development strategies
- Partner with attorneys on client development, pitches, and RFP responses
- Oversee digital marketing efforts (website, email campaigns, social media, analytics)
- Draft and edit marketing content, including attorney bios, alerts, and thought leadership
- Plan and manage client events, sponsorships, and networking initiatives
- Coordinate awards submissions, rankings, and directory listings
- Track and report on marketing performance and ROI
- Manage marketing budgets, vendors, and external partnerships
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Ensure consistent branding across all platforms and materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
- Experience supporting attorneys or professional service providers
- Strong understanding of legal marketing and business development strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with attorneys and leadership
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- CRM and email marketing platforms
- Website CMS tools (e.g., WordPress)
- Marketing tools such as Canva, Hootsuite, Constant Contact, Google Analytics
