Job Title: Employment Law Attorney

Location: Multiple - San Francisco, CA, West Palm, FL, Alexandria, VA or Austin, TX

Salary/Payrate: $175K-$215K, bonus and AWESOME benefits!!!

Work Environment: Onsite

Term: Permanent / Fulltime

Bachelor’s degree required: Yes

Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired



Job Description:

We are conducting a search for a well-established, nationally recognized employment law practice seeking mid-level and senior litigation associates to join a high-performing team. This role offers a unique blend of high-stakes litigation (plaintiff & defense) and strategic employment counseling. Candidates interested in sitting for the California state bar are highly sought.

 


Key Responsibilities (All Levels)

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Manage discovery and case files
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and agencies
  • Contribute to overall case strategy and execution
  • Mid-Level Attorney (3–5 Years)
  • Support case strategy and execution across employment litigation matters
  • Handle drafting of pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Assist with depositions, hearings, and mediations
  • Contribute to employment counseling and compliance guidance
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on complex matters
  • Senior Attorney (6+ Years)
  • Independently manage cases and key litigation components
  • Lead depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions and substantive briefs
  • Provide strategic pre-litigation and litigation advice
  • Conduct workplace investigations and advise on employment risk
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients

 


Qualifications

  • Mid-Level: 3–5 years of litigation experience
  • Senior: 6+ years of litigation experience
  • Employment law experience required
  • Strong experience with dispositive motions and discovery
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of California employment law and civil procedure
  • Active California Bar admission (or ability to obtain quickly)
  • Admission to State Bar license in either California, Florida, Texas, or Virginia
  • Must live near any of the offices in the cities below:

o  Austin TX.

o  Alexandria, VA.

o  West Palm Beach, FL.

o  San Francisco, CA.
