We are seeking a detail-oriented Fiduciary Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will support attorneys in matters related to estates, trusts, guardianships, probate administration, and fiduciary litigation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with probate and trust administration, including drafting petitions, inventories, accountings, and related court filings.
  • Prepare fiduciary accountings and related financial documents in compliance with state laws and court requirements.
  • Manage case files, maintain document management systems, and track key deadlines.
  • Conduct legal and factual research related to estate, trust, and fiduciary matters.
  • Draft correspondence to clients, courts, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and communicate with fiduciaries, beneficiaries, accountants, and financial institutions.
  • Support attorneys in fiduciary litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and management of exhibits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable probate rules, court procedures, and fiduciary standards.
  • Assist with billing, timekeeping, and administrative case management.




Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in trusts & estates, fiduciary law, or probate administration.
  • Strong knowledge of probate court procedures and fiduciary accountings.
  • Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with fiduciary accounting software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service.
